Emily trained in Holistic and Sports Massage, and Anatomy and Physiology qualifying in 2006 with ITEC diplomas.
She also trained with the Academy of On-Site Massage to gain a diploma in Acupressure in 2007 and in 2008 trained in No Hands Massage .
Emily is a member of Embody (the Complementary Therapists' Association) and holds full professional insurance.
Emily has also had a long standing interest in meditation, being a part of her life for over 20 years. She is also interested in relaxation techniques and the effect of living and working with self-awareness. She completed a course in the Foundations of Teaching Meditation.
She is also quailified in Personal Transformational Coaching accredited by the ICF, CThA, and ILM.
Whilst working in schools she realised the need to teach relaxation and self-awarensss and began a series of sucessful workshops based on her own experience and other techniques inspired by various sources. Separate workshops were developed for staff and students.
Emily's aim in all her work is to bring space and peace into people's lives so that they can, through their own self-awareness, see what will help them on their journey and what can be let go of.
