Meditation

You can choose from meditation courses or one off workshops

The courses cover a minimum of 6 weeks and look at various types of meditation to allow the students a variety of experiences so they can best determine which meditations work best for them.

There are many forms of meditation, Eastern and Western, old and new. Nearly all religious and spiritual paths use meditative techniques. More recently it's effectiveness has been noted in the world of stress -reduction. We live in an era of fear and ongoing stress and meditation offers a way out of this cycle using concentrated attention and expanded awareness.

Meditation is a subjective experience but essentially the final destination is the same - inner peace with ones self.

Massage

Massage is the healing art of touch.
Research has shown that 80 percent of all dis-ease and sickness begins with ongoing stress. Massage not only relieves pain and tension from your muscles, but also deeply nurtures and soothes the nervous system — which, in turn, affects all other systems in your body.

Instinctively we all use massage, that is, when you have hurt yourself your reaction is to rub it better, or when a muscle is sore or stiff we stretch and rub the area, naturally encouraging blood flow bringing oxygen to the muscles.

In these workshops I introduce the basics of massage for use on friends and family.

Prices dependant on location and class size.
